Thailand Pass: how to apply
Thailand is open and now and one of the most important things you need to do in order to be able to enter the country is to apply to Thailand Pass.
In this post you’ll learn how to apply, how’s the full process and what the requirements are.
What is Thailand Pass?
The Thailand Pass is an online process in which you’ll be asked to upload your travel documents before your trip.
What documents do you need?
- Flight confirmation
- Thai Visa (if required)
- Certificate of Vaccination
- Paid Hotel Reservation (SHA+ or SHA Extra + certificated Hotel)
- Insurance with COVID coverage (minimum 50,000 USD)
How to apply to Thailand Pass?
Before you start we recommend having all the required documents together in the same folder of your computer to make it easier to find and upload them.
All the documents must be in image format (.JPEG or .PNG), PDF documents are not accepted by the system.
Select your travel plan: if you are traveling from one of the 63 listed countries you can choose the Test & Go option, if not, select Sandbox Programme.

You’ll be asked to accept the terms and conditions of the Thailand Pass system, once you accept you can start to complete all the information required step by step.

What happen next?
Once you complete the process, you’ll get an email confirmation and your application will be reviewed. It can take up to 7 days to be reviewed and get approved but usually take 1 or 2 days.
