The Refresh programme at DPM Diving in Gili Trawangan is designed for certified Open Water Divers (or higher) who have not dived for an extended period and want to rebuild confidence and skills before joining regular fun dives. It is not a recertification — the existing certification remains valid regardless — but is strongly recommended for divers returning after more than a year out of the water. The programme starts with a classroom session to review basic scuba concepts (equipment assembly and checks, buoyancy and weighting, equalisation and emergency procedures including out-of-air and controlled ascents), followed by a pool session in a controlled environment to practise key skills: mask clearing and replacement, regulator recovery, neutral buoyancy and ascent procedures.
The two ocean dives apply the refreshed skills at standard sites around Gili Trawangan with a professional Divemaster or Instructor. The 1,540,000 IDR price covers the classroom session, the pool session, two ocean dives with a professional and full dive gear (dive computer not included but available for separate rental). Snacks on board are included.
A standard SSI medical questionnaire is required before entering the water. A one-time National Marine Park Fee of 100,000 IDR is paid separately in cash. Bookings via WhatsApp.
