The SSI Advanced Adventurer course at DPM Diving in Gili Air is a two-day, five-dive programme for Open Water-certified divers wanting to extend their skills and reach 30 metres without written exams or theory classes. All training is practical and water-based. The five specialty dives included are: Perfect Buoyancy (trim, weighting and air consumption), Fish ID (identification of common reef species), Deep Dive (descent to 30 metres with gas consumption planning and narcosis awareness), Wreck Dive (external wreck protocols and safety) and Navigation (underwater compass work and natural navigation).
Each adventure dive corresponds to the first dive of the full specialty programmes, so the experience can be credited toward those certifications later if the diver decides to continue training. Prerequisites: a valid Open Water Diver certification from any recognised agency. The 5,400,000 IDR price includes a professional SSI instructor, full dive gear, the SSI Advanced Adventurer certification, all certification fees, five dives and snacks on board.
A standard SSI medical questionnaire is completed before the course. A one-time National Marine Park Fee of 100,000 IDR is paid separately in cash. Bookings via WhatsApp.
