Fun dives at DPM Diving in Gili Trawangan are two-tank guided trips for certified divers (Open Water or above). Two boats depart daily — a morning departure and an afternoon departure — giving flexibility to fit a dive day into wider plans on the island. Each trip covers two dives at sites selected based on conditions on the day.
Popular sites in the Gili Trawangan rotation include Shark Point (a shipwreck site with white-tip and black-tip reef shark sightings), Turtle Heaven (a coral reef site known for frequent turtle encounters), Halik (coral reef with reef sharks), Bounty (an underwater platform site with coral and turtles) and Turbo (coral, sharks and rays). Sightings of sharks, rays and turtles are typical at these sites but not guaranteed on any individual dive. The waters around the Gili Islands are protected as a National Marine Park.
The price of 1,180,000 IDR per trip covers two dives, a professional dive guide, full dive gear (dive computer not included but available for separate rental) and snacks on board. A standard SSI medical questionnaire applies before any in-water activity. A one-time National Marine Park Fee of 100,000 IDR is paid in cash on the first day and is valid for unlimited dives at the location during your stay.
