The Refresh programme at DPM Diving in Nusa Penida is designed for certified divers (Open Water or higher) who have been out of the water for an extended period and want to rebuild skills and confidence before joining regular fun dives. It is structured as a theory recap, a pool session and two guided open-water dives. The programme starts with a brief theory class to revisit core scuba concepts — equipment assembly and checks, buoyancy and weighting, equalisation and emergency procedures including out-of-air and controlled ascents.
The pool session covers key skills: mask clearing and replacement, regulator recovery, neutral buoyancy and ascent procedures, all in a controlled environment before going to open water. The two open-water dives apply the refreshed skills at standard sites around Nusa Penida. The price of 2,100,000 IDR covers two open-water dives, a professional dive guide, the pool session, full dive equipment (excluding the dive computer, available for separate rental), snacks on board and shower and towel service.
A standard SSI medical questionnaire is required before entering the water. Divers returning after more than a year out are particularly encouraged to complete this session. Bookings via WhatsApp.
