The Refresh programme at DPM Diving in Koh Phi Phi is designed for certified divers (Open Water or higher) who have not been in the water for an extended period and want to rebuild skills and confidence before joining regular fun dives. It runs as a one-day session combining theory recap, in-water practice and a guided dive. The programme starts with a brief theory class to revisit core scuba concepts — equipment assembly and checks, buoyancy and weighting, equalisation, and emergency procedures including out-of-air and controlled ascents.
The first dive is a shallow skills session covering mask clearing, regulator recovery, neutral buoyancy and ascent procedures. The second dive is a regular fun dive at a Phi Phi site, applying the refreshed skills to a real diving environment. The price of 3,400 THB includes full dive equipment, a professional guide, two dives and lunch.
A National Marine Park Fee of 600 THB applies on the day of the dives (paid separately in cash to park authorities). A standard SSI medical questionnaire is required before entering the water. Divers returning after more than a year out of the water are strongly encouraged to complete this session before joining fun dives.
