Adventure dives at DPM Diving in Koh Phi Phi are single specialty dives drawn from the SSI Advanced Adventurer programme. They allow Open Water-certified divers to experience a specific skill or depth without committing to the full Advanced course. The most popular is the Deep Adventure, a single dive to 30 metres with a professional SSI instructor — allowing Open Water divers (otherwise limited to 18 metres) to experience the recreational deep limit under supervision.
Other adventures available include Wreck Diving, Perfect Buoyancy and Night Dive, each focusing on a specific skill set. Each adventure dive can be credited later toward the full Advanced Adventurer certification if the diver decides to complete the rest of the programme. Each adventure includes one dive, a professional SSI instructor, full dive equipment, lunch and dive insurance.
An SSI recognition card is issued on completion of the Deep Adventure. The price is 2,700 THB per adventure. A National Marine Park Fee of 600 THB applies on the day of the dive (paid in cash to park authorities).
Prerequisites: a valid Open Water Diver certification. A standard SSI medical questionnaire must be completed before the dive.
