SSI Diver Stress & Rescue in Nusa Penida
The SSI Diver Stress and Rescue course in Nusa Penida runs three days with four open-water scenario dives. The 6,300,000 IDR programme requires a valid Advanced certification.

The SSI Diver Stress and Rescue course at DPM Diving in Nusa Penida teaches divers how to recognise, prevent and manage stress and emergencies underwater and at the surface. It is considered the next level of training after the Advanced Adventurer course and, together with React Right, is a prerequisite for the SSI Divemaster programme. The course runs over three days.
Day 1: theory class on stress in diving — causes, prevention, early detection and management — followed by a pool skills circuit covering self-rescue, controlled emergency ascents and assisting distressed or unconscious divers at the surface and underwater. Days 2 and 3: four open-water scenario dives in which the instructor stages realistic emergency situations for the student to assess and resolve end-to-end. A written exam completes the certification.
The price of 6,300,000 IDR covers all course sessions, a professional SSI instructor and dive insurance. Full dive equipment is provided during the in-water sessions. Prerequisites: a valid Advanced Adventurer or Advanced Open Water certification, plus a current React Right or equivalent first aid certification (taught in-house at DPM as a standalone course).
A standard SSI medical questionnaire is required before the water sessions. Bookings via WhatsApp.
